I purchased a CZ 75 Sp01 six months ago.   was actually thinking  of a 1911 9mm as I wanted an all steel gun.  I have a 5" M&P 9, a Shield 9, and a XDM 3.8 9mm.  I had a Beretta 92 and sold it as I never could get "comfortable with it.  The CZ was recommended to me and as soon as I held it I was sold.  At the range I am amazed as I am by no means a really good shot but that pistol is.  I am amazed at the difference for me between this and the Beretta?  I know that the 92 is a good gun but it just never worked for me.  The CZ 75 has many similarities to it but this gun is a keeper.  Any thoughts out there?
Thanks
Gary

Congrats on your new CZ. The ergos on the CZ is the main reason I like them. It all started when I shot my younger brother’s SP01 years ago and everything went downhill from there  ;D. Now I got a shadow 2, TSO and a czechmate.

Have fun and enjoy shooting your new toy. Just be careful since they’ll multiple in a heartbeat  O0.

Welcome to the (now) worst kept secret in the industry!  The ergos and accuracy of the CZ lineup catch most folks off guard but wait until you handle a tuned variant!  You'll wish you never found CZ because all your other prize pistols will become safe queens and your wallet will become lighter as your CZ collection magically multiplies in your safe!  Good luck with your new found affliction!

Cheers,
Toby

Greetings from gUNfriendly NJ  !
YEP !!!!  Sometimes it doesn't matter whether its expensive or cheap, metal or plastic, full or compact, common or rare !  Just how it feels in your hand !  My moment arrived when I first picked up a rented P07.  Wife and I travelled the 125 miles to the closest range with CZs on the rental roster. P07 fit like a glove and hit the right balance point for me.  Although I grouped better with the 09 I wound up buying the 07, and will never part with it !  I may , one day pick up a P01 omega to put between our P07s ( Yes, the Wife got an ODG 07 a year later ! )

"Let there be light"  and there was muzzle flash !

Welcome to the forum. You have a very familiar story for sure. The Sp-01 is an amazing handgun. My first CZ ever was my SP-01 Tactical. My first range trip blew me away at how easy it was to shoot good. I am a fan of the Beretta as well, especially the LTT Elite, but I can shoot the CZ more accurate without trying as hard.

My first "CZ" was a Tanfoglio Witness in 45acp.  It was a great pistol but I had to sell it.  That was 20+ years ago.  My story is that years ago I was hooked on the Glock hype.  Then one day I bought a Sig.  After the first range session I was hooked on Sigs.  In one session I shot that pistol better than 15 years of Glock practice.  I subsequently sold all my Glocks and bought Sigs.  Then one day I found an SP01 CZC Accu Shadow for a great price at a LGS.  I still love Sigs, but not as much as CZ. I'm down to just a few Sigs now.  I think I have 3-4.  I'm not sure because they've become safe queens.  CZ makes a fantastic pistol in my opinion.  Superior in some ways to Sig, and equal to Sig in others.  But nothing feels as good in my hands as a CZ pistol.  Except for...  well, let's just let that one go for now.  I don't want to embarrass my wife.   ;D
