We're celebrating our 38th trip around the sun on Jan 2. I'm telling you... it is hard, their requirements can sometimes change with the wind, but you need to pay attention and keep that bread buttered.
Here's 2 helpful hints at keeping the special lady happy...
• It's hard to know how she'll be feeling several days in advance, so on birthdays and anniversaries, I always give 3 cards: a sappy one, a funny one and a middle of the road model. And I put those in 3 different places around the house so they are discovered during the course of the day... coffee maker, tooth brush, car dash board, etc.
• Always buy more cards than you need. That way you always have a card ready for her to wake up to on those special days. Do you have any idea how good you look when you have a card, but she forgot to buy one ? Take it from me, you never ever want her to be the only one with a card !
