Optics Plates

Hello,

Not sure how to search for topics.  Never used a forum before.  Purchased a CZ P-10 F OSP for my husband for Christmas and a Vortex Venom Optic.  No plates in the gun case.  Did anyone receive optics plates with their pistol?

I have a rami, Cz75b, a Cz shadow 1  tactical, and a number of cz452’s.  Non of them came with an optics plate. The cz452’s have dove tails to mount your optics on.  If I put an optic on a gun, I like using the Weaver and Picatinny type rail (ie . Optics plate).  When I need one I look at DPI and BKL.  Take your gun to your local gun shop, describe your objective and ask for some help.

Note:  Some CZ’s have 11mm or 3/8” dove tails.

The CZ-USA webstore and CZ Custom both sell the mounting plates for optics.

I used the OEM CZ plate. to get my P10f and Venom to hit where I wanted, I had to use a shim.

Adjusted all the way down, I was still hitting quite low and couldn’t get it zeroed how I liked. I purchased a shim from Amazon and now have it sighted in at 25 yards to poa/poi. Meaning, the rd will hit where I place the dot at 25. I’m happy with the results for now. We’ll see how we perform at next months match.
