Forgive my ignorance and this is not a sarcastic question but what is the appeal of a steel frame P-01 over an aluminum frame P-01 Omega? Just curious.
It feels wonderful (the weight) and the beavertail of the steel frames is a full extended and rounded tail.

They are also safety and not decocker. I prefer safety.

I much prefer the steel frame compacts to the p-01 and rail-less steel frames.

But we are splitting hairs. The variety is nice

I also prefer a safety. I installed the safety in my Omega.

I love the Omega frames. I much prefer the traditional trigger system when modified.

I wish I could take the Omega frame and put in the standard internals.

I see three. Two were manufactured in '17. The one tech net armory has was manufactured in '19. One guy selling one of them has "1 of 50 imported". Don't think a batch has came in. But there is definitely more than 50 in the United States.

The email reply from CZUSA regarding my inquiry:

"  Our SKU 99041 was brought over to the US in a quantity of 50 pieces, and here's our item description to assist:

99041   HNDGUN   CZ P-01 STEEL FRAME W/ RAIL AND SAFETY, CAL 9MM LUGER

As you can see, it's our P-01 with the frame being made of steel, rather than aluminum alloy, and it sports a safety rather than a decocker. Please let us know if there's anything else you need along the way.

Thanks!

I actually just purchased a second 99041. One I plan to send to Cajun and the other either for my wife or leaving stock. I'm happy with 2 of 50.

I'm not sure if I get it... If you take Omega frame and put standard internals you just create standard non-Omega pistol.... Are they any differences in frames between P-01 and P-01 Omega, or 75B and 75B-Omega?

Yes. The beavertail.

EDIT - sorry. I have to correct myself. In the case of the compacts the beavertail is not different. The full size omegas have different beavertails.

If that was the case, there wouldn't be 2019 manufactured ones for sale on gunbroker.  I heard upwards of 1500 two years ago. So the 99041 is not rare enough to bring 1k.

The 99021 and 99041 are definitely not as rare as they are made out to be.

I still like them.

I laugh when I hear the number 50. When these guns came out I think I tracked at least 40 of them and saw quite a number of them myself. You can go on gunbroker and search for completed sales with 99041 in it you'll find way more than 50.

I find the above add kind of bleepty.  The person says he will block non-established bidders.  You know, so he avoids shady people.  Yet he is touting his gun as one of fifty which is shady in itself.

The omega has an aluminum frame

Fewer 99041 were imported than the 99021 and the following 99021 sold for $1250. So I guess if you find the right buyer at the right time it can be rare enough to bring in 25% more than 1k price tag you think is too high.....lol

I've seen the 50 imported only quote in a lot of places. Its definitely not 1500 like the 99021. Haters who can't afford one always seem jealous of other people. LOL

Yeah I had one and regret selling it, which I sold way below what they are asking just two years later. What I was getting at about the guy advertising that one as one of only 50, is falsely claiming something that he obviously doesn't know what he's talking about, to try and make more money from the sale. Picture of the one I had.

Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

Wow sound like you hating because you were a sucker that under sold yours. Same seller sold a less rare one for probably double what you sold yours for....LOL

I'm just saying maybe you don't know what your talking about.
