I see three. Two were manufactured in '17. The one tech net armory has was manufactured in '19. One guy selling one of them has "1 of 50 imported". Don't think a batch has came in. But there is definitely more than 50 in the United States.

The email reply from CZUSA regarding my inquiry:

"  Our SKU 99041 was brought over to the US in a quantity of 50 pieces, and here's our item description to assist:

99041   HNDGUN   CZ P-01 STEEL FRAME W/ RAIL AND SAFETY, CAL 9MM LUGER

As you can see, it's our P-01 with the frame being made of steel, rather than aluminum alloy, and it sports a safety rather than a decocker. Please let us know if there's anything else you need along the way.

Thanks!

I actually just purchased a second 99041. One I plan to send to Cajun and the other either for my wife or leaving stock. I'm happy with 2 of 50.
Yeah "originally"  imported. That's not what his ad said.

I've seen the 50 imported only quote in a lot of places. Its definitely not 1500 like the 99021. Haters who can't afford one always seem jealous of other people. LOL

The 99041 has been selling far longer than the 99021. Literally several years. Don't believe anyone who tells you there are only 50.

I mean you could... Just do a quick gunbroker search and see how many of the  99041 have been sold.

Yes, there are like 20 that have been sold recently and there are nearly 5 for sale now.  I don't think half the wold's stock of these are currently being sold.

If anybody has watched any of the CZ “factory tour “ videos, you’ll see how the frames are cast, using what is basically the “lost wax method “  which has been around for literally 1000’s of years..Point is, CZ can whip up another batch of these anytime they want, as it costs very little to make the wax molds for the frames. Knowing that, I would have very little faith in any “limited production “ anything CZ makes, because it’s only limited until they decide to run another batch off, and that could be next week, next month, next year.. Best advice I could offer, is to buy them, enjoy them for what they are, but don’t fool yourself into thinking that there’s only a few out there, that could change anytime..

I passed on a stainless P-01 yesterday.  I feel the same way.  The high premium for a rare gun can disappear tomorrow when a new batch arrives and there goes your investment.

Sigh another broke hater that can't afford a 99021 or 99041 lol

That's quite assumptive.

You are free to think what you want. Doesn't affect me at all. Just trying to pass on a little of what I've seen over the past few years.

Nick,

I have no clue what you are talking about.  I sold one gun in my life and it wasn't a CZ dude.  I think you are confusing yourself.  There are a few people replying to you and each other.  Trust me, I am a grown adult and can buy any gun I would like and have plenty of liquid cash to do so.  That does not mean I purchase overpriced guns on a whim though.  Again, let the grown ups talk please.

There is a wonderful feature of these forums, perhaps specific to Tapatalk the app.

If you click on a username and the ellipses in the upper right hand corner it allows you to ignore/block people. Their posts no longer show up (invisible to you)

I figured that out a whole ago after toiling through posts from that Rmach guy in the gunsmithing forum.

Several years ago I called CZ and asked. They told me only 50 were imported. No hearsay here. I heard it from them directly maybe sometime in 2018?

I also already own one.

You know what, I have been doing that for years on forums and just forgot about it now.  It really is great because you can retain the same quality of the forum minus the occasional outlier who ruins the fun.
