P10 RDS Prototype
« on: January 24, 2020, 01:53:10 PM »
This is what I’m looking for! Sadly not on the market yet. Holosun displayed a RDS that replaces the cover — No adapter needed. Even the slide serration matches up.

Now that is super cool.   I would buy one.  Might not come to production though since they have to make a different sight for every model

Well without solar I would assume it runs at least a few hours off the charge.  Then you can just use the sights since the low mount allows easy co witness lol.

not just a few hours, 2000 hours... thats a lot

Even if you only got 800, that is more than a month of constant on for only 8 hours of charge (apply light while you sleep once a month)

Not sure I'll like leaving my gun on my windowsill to charge for 8 hours. If they incorporate a tritium backup they might have a winner.
Let's go Brandon!

2000 hours is in excess of 80 days. That means if the gun comes out of the safe for an afternoon at the range once every 2 months, then it should be fine.

Also implicit in the "windowsill" statement is the idea it must be fully charged to operate.

I think it's great. Holosun is constantly pushing development at a reasonable price point.

Just got my 508t. Hoping it runs well. Picking up the dot is difficult

This is why I went with the 507c.  The big circle makes picking il the dot much easier
