slide and frame serial numbers do not match

I was recently looking at a used Shadow. It looks like a Shadow Target 2 but the serial numbers on the slide are different than the serial numbers on the frame. Every CZ I have ever seen has had matching serial numbers. I do not know what to make of it. Does that mean it is a frankenstein?

If it’s used, who knows. Probably rebuilt or being sold with extra or spare top end.

Does the barrel match any of the serial numbers? Does the barrel even have a number on it?

OK uploading the picture was mostly a fail but the links is in there.

I did take time to read about it. There was a recommendation to use picturetrail along with 5 others. That's what I tried.

It took me a quick minute to learn but Imgur works well from my desktop but when I try to post pics from my iPhone it only puts a link to the picture on Imgur.

It's not uncommon for people to pick up a Shadow slide and use it with an SA or SP01 frame.

Thats because you are using the mobile site. if you have an iphone, tap the address bar  and select 'request desktop site'. I'm sure Android phones must have a similar system to do so.

You need to link to your pictures, not try to post your pictures. This site does not post pictures.
