Any reason to have a 2nd cz75 SAO?
« on: January 25, 2020, 04:18:51 PM »
This probably isn't the best place to ask this question, but...

Is there any reason I should buy a 2nd CZ75 SAO?  I have one I bought used and the previous owner shot a lot through it and had used to compete.  The gun I could purchase and much less rounds through it and seems in very good condition.  I'm not sure if I should grab this gun or wait until I find something new that catches my eye.  The draw for me is the SAO is priced very reasonable at close to four bills.

What do you think?

You can not dual wield without 2 pistols. Really though, at that price it sounds like you could get your money back out of it if needed. So buy it, dual wield with it and then sell it if needed down the line.  ;D
Will work for CZ pics! (including but not limited to all CZ clones)

For close to 4 bills, I'd buy it.

The real question...is there a good reason to only have one?

Go for it and enjoy  O0

If the price is right why not buy it? If down the road you decide you really don't need 2 then you could always sell the one with the high round count and put the money toward some other model you may be lusting after.

im not sure why people ask questions like this since they already know what they want.

But if you want enabling,, you are hereby enabled.

Also if you never held/fired 2 pistols/guns its a hoot.

The fun part is trying to keep on target and to see how well you do.

A.  CZ stopped making the SA models - buy it, they will only become more rare in the gun shops and at gun shows
B.  Paid about $560 for a new one 3, maybe 4 years ago.  $400 or so is an awesome price
C.  If you decide you want only 1, keep the one that shoots the best groups.
I stopped carrying the SIG 556R.  SIG changed models and couple/three times and stopped supporting it with parts.  So, I stopped supporting SIG.  Back to the tried/true AR15 Carbine.

What would you use it for?  I compete in USPSA and IDPA and I always bring a backup gun to major matches. (usually have one in my car for most local matches also)

I guess I really don't have a use for it.  And that's more why I asked if I really need it.  I'm trying to think if I want to do my first pistol build with CGW parts and this gun.

I don't compete yet but always wanted to...and I'm spot on the the SAO.  It would be a reasonable gun to use for competition.

For 4 bills buy it.  Cajunize the one you shoot best, keep the other stock for nightstand duty.

I was looking at CZ's from one vendor at a gun show 2 years back and the price he had for a new 75 SAO pistol was 550. 400 isn't too bad of a price. Having a second gun specifically set up for competition wouldn't be bad so you don't have to go back and forth changing parts out from pistol to pistol.

Also, if you end up with 2 exact same pistols, you can duel wield like in the first Call of Duty Black Ops game!
