I have a 6.5 grendel varmint, my questions are, would it be a good rifle out too 3-5 hundred  yards, if so what bullet and what scope do you recommend, thanks for any help, GOD Bless our troops  and first defenders.

The big question, what are you going to shoot with the rifle? Deer NO, no where near enough energy for reliable bullet performance at those ranges. Small varmints, should be fine.  Paper, go for it.

Are you going to hand load or use factory ammo? For deer the best bullets form my experience are the Barnes TTSX and the Hornady SST. If you're only using factory ammo, you will  be limited to bullets between 110gr and 130gr. For hunting the 120gr to 130gr bullets will probably work best. For target use I'd probably use a Hornady ELD 123gr.

I like a quality fixed power for field use. For target and varmint a quality 2-10 or 2.5-15.

Thanks for info, I limit myself to about 150-200 yards for hunt dear, but I  like to try it out to 450-500 just too see if I  can a target.
