Cool Hand Grips Question
« on: January 30, 2020, 04:09:36 AM »
So, Lok girps list's the different levels of aggressiveness of the different grips on their site, Cool Hand does not seem to list the info on their site and all the listings on Amazon simply say "Aggressive" no matter the grip design, so I'm wondering if anyone can point me to something that shows the differences in the level of aggressiveness between the various grips that Cool Hand sells. Or if you own/have used different versions of the grips feel free to list the differences between them (please be sure and mention which "designs" they are)

I have 3 sets of the Cool Hand full size OPS texture, and I would call them aggressive.  I actually took some sandpaper to one of the sets. Overall, I really like them.

I like cool hand grips. Have them on my PCR. While aggressive, they are not as aggressive as the LOK Boggies on my P01 Omega. I used both guns in my IDPA matches and found both grips to be effective.  I prefer aggressive grips, especially up here in the wet Pacific Northwest

That said, grips are like shoes- what fits me, may not fit you.

I have their carbon grips on my P06.  They are not aggressive at all in comparison to any of my LOK grips or even my factory or AC aluminum grips.

That said, they are perfect for IWB carry purposes.

I just put a pair of the Cool Hand grips (Diamond Cut SPC-PN) on my PCR. I really like them. Much slimmer than the stock rubber grips and I would describe the aggressiveness of this grip texture as "medium" - plenty grippy but still comfortable for IWB carry.

Thanks for the responses, they look like they're a good deal for the price point, now just have to decide which pattern/color would be most desirable  ;D
