The RMRcc appears to be a nice piece.....  but I would prefer an external battery compartment like that of the Holosun 407/507K

Hey guys, I was looking into the possibility of the Tristar T-120 getting milled for an optic, but I'm having difficulty seeing how it can work.  My goal is to keep the rear sight, maybe even get different sights than the factory for some kind of co-witness.  However, the amount space between the rear dovetail and where the slide is being tapered/cut and the extractor on the other side doesn't look like it can even accommodate a micro red dot like the Holosun 507k.

I've included an image of what I'm trying to envision and I wonder if optics just really don't work for this particular model and only full steel P-120 has the real estate to mill for a red dot.  I did try to make the red dot and gun true to size based on measurements I found online, so the proportions should be close to the real thing.

Anyway, I'm aware this isn't a true CZ-75, but the Canik 55/Tristar models are fairly similar (although I think this T-120 model is the most different.)  Also should note that the 507c is shown in the graphic as I couldn't find some 507k photos at the size and angle I wanted for this mockup.

I have several CZ's milled by CZC right over the extractor pin, as I believe it drives UP from underneath and can be shortened and swedged as necessary.

You got any photos?  For the life of me I can't find detailed photos of millwork on CZ-75s.

I suggest checking out the websites and talking with the good folks at Cajun Gun Works or CZ Custom. They do this all day long and probably have some images.
