Well Trijicon just came out with the RMR cc. Direct competition to the Holosun  K models.  I will be looking at the new Trijicon  closely.
Let's go Brandon!

Have my 507K direct milled on a compact slide.

I'm liking that..... a lot

Well, ordered one here awhile back.  Smiled.  Then got the reply that they were out of stock and I could expect it sometime in September.  Sad face.  Then I got another e-mail telling me that they were unsure when the revised models would ship.

May be taking some intermediate steps here.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

Huh.  I got an email from OP today that it (507k) was back in stock and they would ship my order right away, if I still wanted it.  Don't know what happened, but I'll be glad to see it!

Which kydex IWB holsters will work for a PCR with a dot attached? I have a Canik C-100 that I'm considering for an optic. But the leather IWB holster I currently have would have to be trimmed and I don't see holsters online for a PCR with a dot.

Well, after getting the P07 back (for a full sized RMR) I get an e-mail today telling me my smaller Holosun is preparing to ship.  That's the way it goes.

It looks like the new version has those small buttons like the older 507-C did.  It doesn't make sense to me that one Holosun model can have big, vertically aligned buttons but another version can't, but glad to see they got something to ship.

Trijicon filed a design patent suit against Holosun, and apparently rather than fight it over years Holosun agreed to change the button to a Horizontal pattern.
So the new version is called 407K-X2 or 507K-X2. Supposedly shipping again September-October.

Meanwhile....some with the original vertical buttons went out to distributors and I got 2 of 'em from Midway.  ;D

Here's an image on my SIG P365XL which mounted to the optic-ready slide perfectly; and my P365-'X' (short slide with XL grip) where it was milled to mount between the stock sights by Fabricated Arms. Very impressed with the quality  and features so far. They should be a great candidate to direct mill onto a CZ-75 Compact slide.

Love this.

What does something like that cost to have done? I'm assuming you did it in-house?

I got mine (finally!) from Optics Planet, it was delivered a couple days ago and I was pleasantly surprised to see they shipped a 507k, original version with the vertical buttons.  Happy Camper  8)

Stuart, Is the CZC cut deep enough to allow the CZ stock irons to lower 1/3 co-witness? It looks like the Holosun sits nice and low. What's it look like through the optic?

Here's what my SIG P365 cut by Fabricated Arms looks like. Same cut depth as factory P365XL so as not to require any modification of safety plunger or extractor pin.  It's not low enough for a perfect co-witness with the low-profile X-Ray-3 sights, but functional as BUIS using the rear notch of optic.

The CZ dovetail is not in ideal location to keep it. Somebody will probably mill it that way, but I think that’s pretty ugly. Just my conception.
The 507k I have has a notch in the body and it aligns with. 5.5mm or 6mm tall front. I like this set up.

There is now another option in these micro red dots.

The RMRcc is narrower than a regular RMR or SRO, and the mounting holes are also closer together to allow direct deep milling and mounting on a CZ-75 slide.
However, the RMRcc is 1.8" long vs.~1.6" for the standard micro cut that fits Shield RMSc, Romeo Zero, HS 407/507K, etc.  But if you're not going to use the rear dovetail anyhow for BUIS, IMHO it would make an excellent optic choice.
