New Guy In Colorado
« on: February 14, 2020, 01:03:56 PM »
Hello from the South Central Colorado mountains.  Long time shooter, short time CZ guy but I am really liking them.  Several years ago I picked up a CZ85 due to the ambi safety as I am a lefty.  It soon became my Jeep gun.  Later I picked up a CZ75DB because I liked the hammer drop safety.  I planned to use it as my duty gun but I was never able to master a one handed left hand hammer drop so I gave up.  About the same time I also picked up a CZ75D Compact which I carried a bit more as I liked the size, but same problem, difficult to manage one handed lefty use.  Then I found the SP-01 Omega with the ambi hammer drop.  One is to be delivered to my dealer today and tomorrow I will go down the mountain to pick it up.  Hoping for good things.  What I really like about the CZs is the trigger.  While the DA pull is long it is easy and the SA on all three so far is great.  As I said, hoping for big things with the Omega.  Thanks for reading, stay safe.
