I don't even own a P10C, but I wouldn't wish that on any gun. Glock may have some (debatable) virtues, but looks certainly isn't one of them.

Pretty much this....and if I wanted a gun that looked like a Glock, I'd buy a Glock.

What virtues are debatable on a Glock.
I am genuinely interested in your opinion.

I own a couple Glocks and many CZ's as well.
A lot of Glock Dislike here. I think I'll jump over to the Suzuki motorcycle site and see what they are saying about Harleys.

Don't really think anyone is disliking glocks here but no I don't wish any of my guns looked like a glock. If I wanted one I'd own one. As far as debatable virtues I think he simply means glock doesn't own the market in reliability like they once did. MANY guns out there today exhibit extremely good reliability.

This thread is squarely about the aesthetics of Glocks, and that's what my comment was aimed at - the "looks" of a Glock.

I'm not interested in derailing this into a "one brand vs another" debate. But since you're genuinely interested in my opinion, here's the short version: I give Glocks due credit for one thing - they are very reliable. And reliable is good. It's a very basic thing that you want a gun to be. But beyond that, I have never been impressed by their triggers, their sights or their ergonomics (nor their looks, for that matter). And yeah, in general, once we get beyond the basic, low bar of "reliability," there are other things I want my pistols to have as well - namely, a nice trigger, good (if not great) sights and ergonomics that work for me. And in fairness, I've definitely criticized CZ in the past for mediocre out-of-the-box triggers and sights as well, though I've never criticized the ergos of a CZ.

And yeah, I think Glocks are fugly. I also realize that's an entirely subjective, personal opinion that has nothing to do with their usefulness as a tool.  ;)

To be fair, polymer striker guns already look pretty similar.  I'd be interested if they went all in and switched to a Glock rear sight dovetail though.  More sight choices and additional options for optic milling.

Or everyone could standardize around the Novak sight cuts which many like Dan Wesson have already done.

Now that that’s all settled, WHO HERE LOVES THEIR BRYCO JENNINGS PISTOLS?!  ;D Just kiddin around of course. No debating the reliability of Glock but it took building one on a Nomad Defense ‘Nomad9’ frame to appreciate it. The only thing Glock on it though was the trigger assembly and mag catch. I added the Cominolli manual thumb safety, Vickers tritium sites, Brownell’s slide, and Lantac barrel. Though it was a fun gun to shoot, ultimately I ended up trading it for a Tanfoglio ‘The Ultra’-‘IPSC APPROVED’ 9mm/41AE pistol.
