The loading gate is great when I'm running a suppressor. I can reload through the gate and when I'm done shooting, remove the can and dump the mag tube from the end. Best of both worlds. Accuracy is excellent, as with every Henry rifle I've tried. The giggle factor gets very high when shooting a 200gr Keith style bullet loaded for 750 to 800fps. Super quiet and you can hear the bullet hit the back stop. I've killed several raccoons with those slow heavy bullets. If I'm careful I can get 2 or 3 before the rest figure out what happened. Using a full charge magnum load using a 180gr Swift A-Frame JHP, I've taken 20 or 30 feral hogs and 2 Axis deer.

Mauser P08 stripped - replaced the main spring...that was an experience! Nonetheless, design and metal processing work is impressive IMHO.

Added a 2000 Ruger 99/44 Deerfield to my Toy Box
Wanted one to pair-up with my Redhawk for some time now
Added a Williams (FA) Peep and FO (Front) Sight set
A Ruger Sling, Rubber Recoil Butt Pad and a couple more Mags
The Trigger came to me at a very nice 3.5 lb
Now the Deerfield and my (5.5" '84) Redhawk makes for a GREAT Rifle / Revolver Combo
Have had this nice Cross Draw, Chest Holster for a while
It has Double Speedloader Pouchs
Added the Rifle Mag Pouch
Made it from a Smartphone Case I picked-up on-line
Holds three of the 99/44 Mags
Thirty-five Rounds of 44 power, in one handy Combo !
