Using www.ammoseek.com I just did a search for 22LR CCI Mini-Mag copper coated.
Ugh!

I did find some Winchester 36gr 1280fps Copper Coated Hollow Point 222 round boxes at $8.00 each that have run pretty good for me at <$.06 shipped.

Got me thinking now about a Kadet Kit for my P-07 or 75 Sp-01 & P-01 to shoot 22LR practice??  Savings from 9mm cost would pay for it in no time.

Hmmm

I was thinking about a kadet kit several months ago. Might be the time. Aren’t they a little temperamental though?

I dunno. I've heard the Kadet Adapter for the 75's is much better than the P-07 or P-09 model; but it's also considerably more expensive. I'd really have to find out much more.

There's a CZ Forum section just for Kadet.  I guess I got plenty of time on my hands to read up.  ::)

If you want to try something a little better, for not much more, you can buy 2500 rounds of Eley Action for just over 6 cents shipped...

I can highly recommend the Kadet II kit. You won't regret the extra cost, IMO.

Yeah, I don’t own a 22. I was thinking about picking one up now. Thought a Henry AR7 would be cool to carry in my pack or truck. I see you can get 5000 rounds for just under 5cents per. How much was it before Corona?

I don't think bulk 22 has gone up much.......yet!
But the good stuff like CCI Mini-Mag will undoubtedly dry up 1st.  :'(

It's gone up almost $2.50 a box here. I paid $5.59 last I ordered and I saw it at $7.99. Of course it's back ordered.

Birdy, You're right!  A lot has changed in just a couple of days. When I went to the sites with lower prices; they had no stock or one box limits. Glad I ordered those 5 boxes of Win 222 CPHP. Now, let's see IF they ship.  ::)

David,
I put a Kadet on a P-01 and love shooting it. Just don’t use Remington ammo. It works great with mini-mags, any type of Federal and of course Ely.

Rural King here in Gainesville, Fl still has (well had last Friday) my favorite .22 ammo....Aguila Super extra for $2.29 box of 50.  There was a 4 box limit though. It seems to operate well in all my S/A revolvers and semi's ....including my .22 conversion for my P-07.

Fireman, good to know thanks. I'm looking to use it on my pcr. I think I might actually pull the trigger. I need to buy some 22lr first probably.

My local gun store/range isn't price gouging but they are limiting purchase to 2 boxes. Or, they will sell you all the ammo you want as long as you are going to shoot at the range.

Not at all.  You're doing it yourself.  That's simply being generous good decent person.  You're not using the government as a tool to take from some under the threat of violence and redistribute to others.

And even reloading components appear to be in short supply although I haven't seen any price gouging.  I was a little low on .223 and 9mm bullets so ordered from RMR and Bayou Bullets and it took awhile before I finally received them.  Also ordered some more pistol powder from Graf & Sons while they still had some in inventory.  Now I'm looking at purchasing a few bullet molds because I have a ton of lead.

I received 1K bullets from RMR just this AM. It's slower (not their usual 1 week), but they are manufacturing and shipping.

Wobbly,
When did you place your order? I ordered 3k on March 26 and still have to receive them. Thanks.

Order placed March 21 for RMR 124gr JHP. There was a screw-up with my shipping address that took days to work out, and finally the PO delivered them. So I'd think yours should be coming around really soon.
