Quick question about SP-01 low cap. vs normal cap.
« on: April 16, 2020, 07:27:43 PM »
Hey guys, quick and easy question (I hope).

I'm thinking about purchasing a CZ 75 SP-01. I am unfortunate enough to be born 'n' raised in a state that requires all magazines are limited to a 10rd maximum. I haven't checked with my local dealers yet, but it is possible that this means they offer the low capacity version of the CZ 75 SP-01 that I see on CZ's website. Are full size 18rd mags compatible with the low capacity model? Or is there some physical difference with it that limits it to low cap. mags only?

Thank you.

No difference. I live in California so we can only buy the low cap model. The difference is the mags. The firearm itself is the same.

The low cap is shipped with 2 10-round mags. I have since purchased standard, 17 round mags and they work perfectly. Bought 8 of them during freedom week.

Hope this helps.

Just the magazine is the difference.  They fit in both versions
