Been searching for answers and came across this forum, guessing if anyone can shed some light on this it would be a CZ forum
Somewhat befuddled the more I look at it, hoping someone can set me straight.
Purchased it as a CZ-50 back in 99, haven't had it out in years but last time I noticed the magazine was getting 'locked up' and wouldn't drop. After some fiddling around I found it seemed to be getting hung up on the mag follower so I found my other mag and tried it, didn't have the problem.
One is a 7 hole flat base, the other 8 hole with finger rest.
The 7 hole magazine with a flat follower was the one that was hanging things up.
The 8 hole magazine that did not hang up has a depression at the top/left of the follower.
Bottom pics are magazines and followers.
There is NB50 on the front of the grip, the slide is marked CESKA ZBROJOVKA, NAR. PODNIK STRAKCNICE, barrel and slide serial numbers match (70XXXX) , now that I think about it I don't recall seeing the serial on the frame itself?
But what caught my attention this last go over was how the frame is marked (pic below). It looks like the 5 was stamped over the 7 but that would seem the opposite of what I would expect? And from what I've read it would appear the other marks indicate a cz50.
Can someone tell me what it is I have?
