Rarity of CZ 805 Bayonet
« on: April 28, 2020, 01:24:16 PM »
Doing my research I can’t find much pertaining to the bayonet pictured below. There are some reviews on it floating around online but nothing about production numbers. Seems like there wouldn’t be a need for these to be mass produced as many countries choosing to adopt the Bren 805 have chosen the variety without the function of being able to support a bayonet.

I believe it's the standard bayonet/fighting knife of the Czech Army.  Also, the 14" and longer barreled versions (if they exist outside of the US version of the Bren 2 MS rifle) have bayonet lugs on them.

What makes you think that it is rare?  I know that CZ isn't importing it at this time, but it's available online from euro-military.com.

The lack of import is what makes me believe they might not be as mass produced as other blades. Especially with a lot of issues rifles/carbines not being able to accept the bayonet. Just a thought
