P10 recoil spring options?
« on: May 13, 2020, 10:33:24 AM »
New to the P10 stuff. Picked one up so I can still play games (USPSA, etc.) while my main pistols are getting milled.

Since I run a much lighter load, I need to play with recoil springs and there is not much info I can find.

What are y'all doing for guide rods and springs?

Cgw and primary machine. Dpm also makes one for the p10 put I think those are overpriced. The primary machine one looks really cool but doesn't add much if any functionality over the cgw one and is a good bit pricier. I currently have 2 cgw guide rods, 1 in a p09 and 1 in a p10c, don't think about em cause they just work

CGW has a solid stainless steel guide rod for 25$, and has either 18 or 15 lb recoil springs to choose from.  This is what I run in my P-07's.

Primary Machine has fluted stainless steel guide rods with nitride or titanium coatings for $40.99, with a selection of OEM (18 lb?), 15 lb, or 13 lb springs.

I stumbled across another vendor, Grayguns, that has solid stainless steel guide rods, with either factory (18?) or competition (15?) springs included, for $29.

There's someone out on Ebay selling titanium guide rods.

That gray guns one is a good option to know about, they are a good company
