Is this official CZ P10c threaded barrel drop in?

https://shop.cz-usa.com/ProductDetail/055000100105_Cz-P10-C-Threaded-Barrel-9mm-Sr

It says "Fitting may be required" and "Gunsmith installation is recommended."

I slipped it into my p10c and it looks like it fits just fine. Will it blow up if I shoot it since I am not a gunsmith and did not fit it?

I notice the markings are different from the threaded barrel that came with one of my other p10c. And the markings are on the opposite side, so you can't see the markings when the barrel is installed.

It should work without extra fitting.
Every online store gives these notifications ("Fitting may be required" and "Gunsmith installation is recommended") just in case.

Markings on other side? Perhaps you bought barrel for left handed P10 model?  ;)... just kidding. you are good !

Yes and no. With the wide tolerance variations that can be found on service grade production guns it is very possible to need to do some fitting from time to time and gun to gun. Anyone who has spent any serious time around 1911's understands the concept fully.

Of course... but I have been referring to Doctor Castle's post:

He doesn't need to be a gunsmith to see if barrel fits.

Ha! That was actually pretty good. Reminded me of an Amazon review I once read for a banana slicer. The slicer was curved to accomodate the average banana. The reviewer however complained that all of his bananas curved the other way.

Thanks for the feedback y'all.

Never said he needed to be a gunsmith. Simply that sometimes parts can need fitting on any gun.
