I ordered the 14" a week ago and still waiting for it to ship! I bought a surefire Warcomp that i will pin and weld to make it over 16". Already have a HBI hand guard, charging handle and Bren BR stock sitting here ready to go as well. Im hoping the 14" looks good with the HBI hand guard. I just dont like the carbine. The heavy barrel and long handguard look funky to me. Plus I dont want all that extra weight out front.

You made the right call.  I have both and the 14 inch is awesome with the HBI and folding stock.  pM me your email or phone and I'll send you some pictures of what it looks like, which is great   14 inch, 556, hbi hg and carbine folding stock.

I ordered a 14” Bren 2 MS and I have the BR stock, HBI handguard and planning to pin and weld a Surefire Warcomp. I d like to see that picture too so I can see the 14” barrel with the HBI. I wish my Bren wasn’t taking so long to ship. vendor is blaming it on corona virus but hopefully he will ship this week.

Exciting!

Let me know how you like the Warcomp as far as concussion/noise/recoil. I'd love pictures too! Where did you get the Bren BR stock?

OK will do. I will post some pics too.
I was one of the dummies that paid way too much for the stock. I bought it on Arfcom literally the day before CZ released the 922r kits. I could have almost bought two of those kits for what I paid for just the stock. Oh well I wanted to make sure I had one. But I was definitely kicking myself the next day.

Hey just enjoy it, don't beat yourself up. At this point, who knows when we'll get the next batch of stocks and if we'll even be able to snag one.

Yeah, it's going to be a great looking gun.  Can't wait to see it with the war comp.

If these idiots will ever ship my Bren. It’s been 10 days since they took my money. I wanted to make sure it had the bayo lug too so I can get the bayonet too. Hopefully they weren’t lying about that.
As far as the stock goes I won’t stress too much. Not the first time I paid way too much for something in this hobby. Thanks for the positive words though.
I have the warcomp drilled and I have a nice sharp tungsten for the tig welder so I will weld it on as soon as I get it and post pics! I will text a few to you DrAK

Warcomp makes it 16.25”. Looks better than the new carbine version and super light.

I was trying to post a pic of the 14” with Warcomp and HBI handguard but it comes out so huge on this forum. Need to find a way to shrink it down

Yeah your set up looks awesome with the war comp.  Hopefully you can post those here.  Did you find out if the CZ Bren boyo will fit the war comp?

Hey, did you get a chance to shoot that thing yet?  Looks awesome, you'll love it.  I'm going to do the same to mine.

Unfortunately no. Kind of a busy weekend but Saturday is range day for sure. Planning to do a head to head test with my SCAR 16. One thing I noticed is the Bren 2 in this configuration is a 1/2” longer overall than the SCAR but the Bren feels way smaller and more agile. The Bren also weighs a pound less. The SCAR has a 14.5” with a pin weld job too but the stock is shorter. Just another good attribute of the Bren 2 I guess. If I didn’t measure them I would have sworn the Bren was way smaller overall.

Yeah, on my scar 17 I have to have the stock on 3 positions out from closed.  With the Bren 2 folding stock, I can shoot it pretty comfortably all the way closed, maybe a little better one click open.
