I got all light strikes with ANY lighter hammer springs.  I was able to cut down the light strikes by removing a few coils on the firing pin spring but still not 100%.  I ended up going back to stock hammer spring to run the best for the kadet.

My Kadet is 100% reliable, I've never had light strikes or any other issues with it. All my springs are full power, and my trigger is light and crisp enough as-is that I see no reason in running lighter springs and risking light strikes.

I bought a new Kadet pistol years ago and have never had a light strike. It has been problem free for thousands of rounds with quality ammo. Last time out I had my first FTF issue and was shocked. I’m guessing the magazine is dirty. Didn’t seem to have the same snap as the other one. It’s the only CZ I run all factory, no mods. Hope you get it up and running; it’s a fun gun to shoot.

OP is running into the same problem I had.  Modified for reliable 9mm and then swapping the kadet on and having issues.

Only had light strikes with bulk pack Winchester ammo (333, 555 or M22). Even then, it was the ammo, not the pistol since the firing pin hits were good, just none of the 3-4 spots tried had any priming compound.   >:(

I tried some different springs using my Kadet 2 on a 75B Omega convertible.  Eventually went back to the original because of the light strike issue all the lighter springs seemed to have to some degree.  The trigger is nice and smooth so having a bit heavier pull weight doesn't bother me in either .22LR or 9mm.

Light strikes here too.  Had to move up to a heavier hammer spring.  Makes double action less than desirable but single action OK.

Never had a light strike with mine in 3-4000 rounds.  I have a Kadet 2 on a 75b SA frame with stock springs.

I’ve never experienced light strikes with my Kadet 2 riding on either of 2 pre-b’s or the Omega convertible. The few rounds that haven’t gone off always seem to have a good mark and I can think of only a couple that haven’t gone off with either a second strike or positioning to a different spot on the rim. In fact, I’ve had a couple that haven’t fired from another gun, no matter how I’ve tried, that have fired in the Kadet (figure if I’m going to discard them that they may as well have lots of dents!).
I am beginning to wonder about a couple of posters here that say they seem to have chronic light strike issues; not so much about the energy of the strike as the position of the strike. Could there be any possibility that just aren’t getting a solid enough “bite” of the FP on the rim?  I have one that seems a bit prone to issues as it gets very dirty (very quickly, if suppressed). It seems sometimes inconsistent but sometimes just not a very large dent; seemingly deep but only just nicking the edge.  That gun also has what seems to be a pretty stiff FP spring that I question whether or not is original.  Just a thought.

The lights strikes most of us are experiencing are from lighter hammer springs like the cgw pro  package etc etc.

I have a lot of experience with ONE Kadet conversion on one 75B frame.  As in close to 50k rounds.  I use Norma Tac22 and Norma Match 40 gr ammo, a 17 lb hammer spring, and keep the firing pin channel dry and clean.  I also clean the breech face and chamber every few hundred rounds.  I haven't had a light strike in years with this ammo, cleaning regimen, and hammer spring.  My combination works for me.  Maybe it will work for you.

I have been using a Kadet top end for several years.  They work best on a single action only set up and therefor no heavy double action pull.  Make sure there is no rub or other friction that may slow the hammer speed.  I don't have light strikes because I use high quality ammo.  On most cheap ammo the primer materiel is not evenly distributed around the rim often leaving bare spots.  This is why when you get a dud, rotating the case in the chamber will usually give a good shot.  I use Geco, Norma and SK ammo and do not get light strikes.  CCI, Remington and Winchester often do.

So...had the local CZ smith look at it...looks like the plastic spacer used might have been a hair to long causing the lockup to not be tight...he sanded it down a bit, and said he was able to fire off 10 magazines with only 1 failure...VAST improvement...will take out this weekend to test for myself....only thing now is that the last round hold-open with a mag inserted doesn't seem to function....hmmmmm

Which "KADET" is this ?
Can't think of a Plastic Spacer on a CZ75 KADET, unless you're talking about the Magazine Base
The Slide "Lock Back" would have to do with how the Slide Lock works with the Magazine Follower
