Testing some reloads
« on: June 01, 2020, 07:56:21 PM »
After blowing the grips off of my 1911's, I have completely refined my reloading process from start to finish (THANKS to you guys!) and I am extremely happy with the results. The shooter is still the weak link, but the ammunition is on point when the old shaky blind guy does his part.

Congrats ! The old, shaky, blind guy is doing great in the video.

Now back up to the 5 foot line and try it again.  O0

I watched the video.....that is good shooting from any distance if you ask me.
10 yards that tight of a group is pretty good.

the ammo is good is consistent. Kudos to the shooter.

I highly agree. It's actually very impressive.

Loosen up, man. We're just razzing you because we can't shoot like that.

Wobbly,
I'm loose. Reloading and shooting are just a hobby that i have a lot of fun with here in West Virginia. No competitions here. I'm willing to take feedback, be it positive or negative, that's why i put things out there. The moral of the story is that i made a mistake reloading a while back and I feel I'm now producing safer and more precise ammunition. (again thanks in large part to you gentlemen here).  You folks are awesome!!! I've learned a TON more about the reloading process due to my mistake and I believe I'm finally starting to see the light.

I got the anvil you made for me and next up will be the 124gr PD JHP. Hopefully the "farsighted gods" will smile on me when i test those but three of the bullets in this video will be awfully hard to beat ( for me ). But i'll have fun trying. Thanks as always for the comments.
