TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — The Florida Supreme Court is blocking an assault weapons ban from going to voters in 2022, saying in a Thursday ruling that the ballot summary is deceptive because it doesn't clearly state that a grandfathering clause applies to the owner, not the gun itself.

Bans like this are designed by leftist politicians to circumvent the constitution because they know they can't get the votes for a ban or abolishment or amendment through the set constitutional parameters. This garbage should never be allowed. One only need look to Kaleephornya too see what a mess these bans are.

Thanks for sharing this.  I'm glad they got it removed, as it worded in a way that would scare a majority of uneducated or on-the-fence people.  Always "assault weapon" and never "family protector".

Not to mention watching a police precinct burn to the ground is mighty good incentive to keep those rifles available.
