SP01 Bull Shadow Question

Does the SP01 Bull Shadow from CZ Custom come with a short reach trigger? It states SRT trigger; however, I think that means short reset trigger.

Has the short reset trigger job installed.
The short reach trigger job is different and CZ Custom doesn't have that installed on any of their guns, unless ordered specifically that way extra.

You can always confirm with Stuart. He is a member here on the forums.

With short meat hooks like mine I need the short reach trigger on any pistol I shoot

While Stuart/CZC may correct me, I dont recall CZC making reach reduction kits (shorter reach in DA). They do make short reset triggers, which actually mean shorter reach in SA mode: the trigger just stops at SA reset point, and hence has reduced pre-travel in SA mode only.

CZC did not have one for a long time but at some point they added a Short Reach Double Action Kit to their tuning line up. It appears that this kit also offers a reduced Single Action at rest trigger position. I am unclear when this was first offered, i just found out about it a few months ago.

We’ve been doing a short reach kit for about two years now.
The Pro Tek series has it and the 75 Bull Shadow has it as part of the build.

Our straight DA trigger is also a short reach trigger.


To the OP question, the SP01 Bull Shadow does not specify the kit in the build, but we can certainly build it with one by request.

You're gonna love the Bull Shadow, either 75 or SP-01. I had Stuart build an 75 Bull Shadow OR for me with SAO. It is a phenomenal shooting gun and I shoot it far better than any other gun I own including 1911's and Sig's.

Go for it. You won't be disappointed. You will find Stuart to be most helpful in his recommendations for the build.

So the factory Bull Shadow is not SAO like the TSO?

No the Bull shadow is built on a 75B or SP-01 lower.

Of course that's one of the beauties dealing with CZC. Stuart can make the gun any way you would like it.
