Mine is the older DUTY model of the P07.  .40 S&W.  It's my EDC concealed pistol and has been for 8 or 9 years now.

Why is it my EDC pistol?  Reliable, accurate, feels good in my hand.  I figure 12+1 .40 hollow points is a good start.  I use (sometimes) P09 .40 magazines as my back ups/spares.  Depends on whether or not I think I can hide that longer magazine in the IWB mag. pouch on my left side.

Pistol's wet with sweat.  One of those hot/humid central VA days a couple/three years ago.

Primary Machine did the work on the slide and installed the back up sights and the DI RMR.  The DI RMR cost what the pistol cost me new.  The machine work, cerakote and back up sights was more than half the cost of the P07 when I bought it new.  It's worth every penny.

No issues with it.  Very accurate.  Mine has a nice trigger.  As you can see it's carried cocked and locked.  SA trigger pull was around 3.5 lbs. new and is around 3&1/4 lbs. now.  DA trigger pull was around 8.5 lbs. new.  I'm not sure what it is now.  I don't use it (DA).
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

I’ve got a standard black 07 in .40 that’s my EDC.

It’s ‘14 production bought new in ‘19.  I wasn’t looking for a .40, but the price (IIRC $380ish OTD) convinced me. Something tells me they were slow seller. ;)

It’s been 100% reliable over a little less than 1500 rounds.

I AIWB carry in a DARA slick side holster, and it conceals well under a T shirt.

I bought a Kadet Kit for it, which has been trouble free, and astoundingly accurate.

I’ll be shopping for night sights soon, and may eventually add a short reset kit.

Other than that, I don’t expect to do any additional modifications.

I’d post a picture, but it looks just like every other stock plain vanilla P 07.

I like my P-07 40. I put a 15 lbs hammer spring in it that lightened and smoothed the trigger quite a bit. It's not as comfortable in my hand as my P-01. It has been 100% reliable so far, but it's not my most used firearm. Here it's shown with the one 12-round flush and one 15-round extended magazines it came with. I left it with the de-cocker, but it also has the safety if needed. There for a while the 40 S&W version could be had for a very good price. I walked out of my LGS with mine for $362 plus tax. If you're interested in a polymer framed SA/DA it's certainly a good option.
