The best thing to do is buy your own gun and test it. That may sound aloof, disconnected, uppity, uncaring, or whatever, but I assure you it's not intended that way. You must consider that it was a "range gun". As such, the mags may have been swapped with another CZ. It could have an extraordinary round count, or next to zero. The last renter may have opted to shoot lead. We know CZ is quick to make changes, and so it could be a "generational thing" where the gun you shot is 1 or 2 generations behind what you would be getting today. And we can definitely be sure it doesn't have a regular cleaning schedule.
Bottom line: Too many variables to conclude anything definitive.
Here's what a reasonable person might do. Wait until Black Friday (which will be well after the re-election). You'll be able to get the CZ P10 model of your choice at a more reasonable price. And your choice of P10 model might actually change between now and then. Also, realize that while HST might be your "favorite" ammo (as it is mine), it is not the only truly great ammo available to you. In other words, realize that it's not just ammo Number 1 that takes down bad guys. Police departments all over the US have been dropping bad guys equally well with ammo numbers 2, 3, 4 and 5 for years.
Hope this helps.
