New P 01,,,

Got a new P 01 Omega.  It was to replace one from about five years ago.
The trigger pull is about 20 lbs in DA, and about 5 lbs in SA.  At least that
is what it feels like.  Heaviest pull ever on a CZ.  My P 09 was smooth as
silk right out of the box.  A dream to shoot, and accurate.  My Phantom is
great right out of the box.  Excellant trigger and accurate.  So what is up with
my P 01?

You can make your P-01 smooth shooter. Eventually you can have DA 7lb and SA 3.5 lb.
There are few people who reported DA around 6lb and SA below 3lb.

Got P-01 Omega last year when the getting was good. NIB trigger pull test was 8# DA and 4.5# SA. No work done to it other than clean first and lube the slide. It now has 70 rounds through it. Doesn't feel different to me though - maybe a little smoother on DA.

Sure. It was online from Gunprime.com.

A few days ago I was searching online to see what the availability was for a P01 Omega and every place was out of stock so I just did a notify when back in stock with a few places thinking I’ll never get notified because of current climate. Then last night I got notified by Gun Prime and ordered it immediately. Must have been the only one to come in because they’re out of stock again.

I’ve purchased from them before and it was a smooth transaction no issues.

I was looking at the 3 piece spring kit and the steel firing pin retaining pin to upgrade to when I receive my
P01 Omega. 40% off the DA pull seems good.

I recommend to send it back to the factory for a free adjustment like I did. They paid for the shipping both ways, the email from CZ read...
"We would be happy to bring in your pistol and take a look. To receive a Return Authorization, head to http://shop.cz-usa.com/company/warranty-repair-request     and fill out all required fields. yeah I got a P01 Omega UG/SR in 2018 and while the DA pull was a little heavy, it was not that bad. I ended up putting a couple CGW parts in it though and it is so sweet now.
