PM activation

I have been a Newbie (19 posts to date), since December 29, 2017, 12:09:01 PM.
I originally joined to purchase a firearm from il.bill, a senior member.
I would think my post rate demonstrates I am not a spammer.
At my current rate of 0.020 posts per day, it could be another 300 days to achieve 25 posts to PM.
I come to the forum for information from persons far more capable than myself.
I personally have very little to contribute, hence the lack of posts.
Is there a way, other than 25 posts, to have my PM activated?

Don’t ever think that you have little to contribute. There are stuff you can research about anything that you’ll be able to share to everyone. The experiences you have are great to be chaired in this forum too.

from the other boards i frequent - surprise - i notice that a new person will have more than 1 question.  Some may have mis conceptions of things or wonder why the bullet goes bang or maybe why a 9 mm instead of a 9.5 mm or?

another comment is that everyone starts at 0.

i did when i started here and i had to wait to sell something.  You may find that other boards may have a restriction like that.  I feel its a way to keep out the rip off artists that are out there.

So if you want to join some other boards for whatever reason, you may want to consider doing it sooner or later.  Especially if you have some unspoken endgame.

You can do as others have suggested or just post some type of reply/comment or ask some questions.

This is what happens quite often. A string of quik posts to get to the magic number and be able too sell in the classifieds. Honestly the rules should be tighter to weed out those who do that.

I wish it were that easy. I spend enough time weeding out the riff-raff and moving posts that people are too lazy or too clueless to post in the right forums as it is.
