CZ 40P Barrels / beating a dead horse

I reload, and I'm a true masochist, so I would like to re-chamber to .357 Sig. If I get a .40 pistol with an available 9mm barrel, it should be a pretty easy conversion.

I think the SP-01 is the only one (that comes in 40) with a bull barrel so the 9mm and 40 cal are the same diameter. It would be the easiest to do the sig conversion on.
The 40B/P barrel lock up is completely different than the P-01/75 series. The P-06 is a 40 cal P-01 but I'm not sure the barrel diameter is the same between the two. You would have to have purchase a shadow barrel and cut it down to fit. Barstow or CZCustom should be able to make that happen easily.

At least some of the 40P pistols used leftovers from the Colt Z40. Mine has a milled recess on the left side of the slide where the Colt markings were removed.

That's pretty cool really - if you think about it...they 'should' of used them up on the 40Bs.... I own 2 x 40Bs and both of mine do NOT have the milled recess.
