Semi gloss CZ?
« on: August 20, 2020, 10:14:55 AM »
New guy here...I was wandering what you guys wipe your guns down with to give them that semi gloss look I see in many pictures. Most of mine look way more of a flat black than semi. I know hopps#9 will only shine when wet. Is there a preferred cleaner/coating to leave on the gun? Thanks in advance, and I'm pretty thick skinned, so, fire away....

Not sure anyone is doing anything. looking at my pistols, the coating is a matt to semigloss on the metal parts. You could wipe down with a little oil or Break free to add a bit of gloss, that could be what you see.

Thanks guys...Looking at mine again, the finish has changed over the years...Some are more flat(older) some are more semi(newer). I was just wondering if there was a wipe on that people were using.

Their is a wax treated gun cloth by hoppe's that works good. Packaged like a silicon cloth.
