A right hand cz452 can come in the following models and they all have cz452 2ezkm stamped on them.  A real nice trainer with the box and paper work might go for 450 today and it would be a decent price.  As you go down the list you might add another 100 to each one.

Cz452 trainer       24” Barrel  beech wood stock
Cz452 Lux            24” Barrel  walnut wood stock
Cz452 Ultra Lux      26” Barrel  some had walnut and others
had beech.  Some cane with                              a orange tint finish.
Cz452 Super       26” Barrel some walnut/beech
       Exclusive Barrel Stamp

There are other variations of the cz 452’s but for competition shootings the ones that I’ve mentioned are the ones people want.

So, there are just a few things to confirm.

1) Does it have a walnut stock?
2) Does it have a 24” barrel?
3) Does it have at least one 1 5 round steel magazine?
4) Does it have the original iron sites?  Including the hood on the front site.
5) Does it come with the original box and paper work?  The box should have a matching serial number on it.
 6) Is there very few marks/blemishes on the wood & barrel?

If the answer to all 6 questions are yes, your looking at a 550-600 gun value.  React accordingly.

If the answer to 2/3 questions are yes and 6 is yes, your looking at a decent price of 450. React accordingly.

Price is often dependent on location. There is a local for sale posting for an excellent condition 452 Lux. The price was just dropped to $500, but it’s not sold yet. Sounds like $450 is in the ball park. Also consider the value of the scope. If it’s a cheap 3x9 then it’s really no value. On the other hand I’ve bought rifles just because of the scope.

Also don’t rely on the owners description of the rifle Trainers and Lux are often confused. Check out pictures of the stocks; Beech (trainer) vs Walnut (Lux). The price doesn’t reflect accuracy. The actions and barrels are the same. I have a Trainer that outshot a Lux and was equal to the Exclusive.

as mentioned, the above.

also, for a collector completeness is also a factor.

i would look at a gun auction/selling site and see what you find price wise too.

good luck

Any idea what scope is on it?  $450 is probably a decent price but if the scope is worth anything it makes it a great deal.

The 452 series rifles have begun to claim a bit of a premium over the 455 and 457 series. Just a few days ago a 452 Lux with a left handed action chambered in 22 L.R. with a much better than average piece of wood went for $1700 on a Gunbroker auction. Now a left handed Lux with a nice stock is a semi odd duck, but $1700 ?  Around my area $400 for a nice walnut stocked 452 is considered a pretty good deal with $450 to $500 a more realistic bottom end. Your area may very well be different. Full Stock rifles have been bringing more as CZ has indicated that the 457 wont be offered in this configuration. If it's a decent scope on a well cared for 452 rifle it would seem to me to be a realistic price.

Thanks to all who gave me advice on the CZ 452, I purchased the rifle today for $425, it came with a Nikon P-rimfire scope, I added a bipod and took it to the range. Iwill put a couple of pics of the gun up and a couple of the targets, if I can figure how to download the photos. Thanks again to everyone.

Well that turned out to be a great deal. The Nikon P series scopes were over $150 new and are good optics. Congrats on a great purchase.
