I did  have the bushing upgraded on my 97 and my 75 compact. Definitely worth the cost. Barrel locks up tight with no wiggle.

Worth every penny, yields Bullseye competition level accuracy when uses with appropriate ammo.

I have a fully Cajunized 97 B with bushing and it is one of the most accurate guns I own. I have a Cajunized 75B compact that shot all over the paper until I changed the bushing. It now shoots very tight groups. My wife's Cajunized 75B compact shoots very well with the origional bushing

It is absolutely a good modification for any 97B.  I bought my 97 from CGW with the "E" bushing and it became my bullseye match gun.  I have since hand fitted a Kart match barrel and bushing to a 1911 and it is almost as good as the CZ.   :) :)

Here are more 97B"E" shooting videos than anyone really has time or interest to watch, but it will give you some indication of how good the pistol is with the bushing modification.
