Recently purchased a Shadow2 OR and am curious about the finish. The slide appears to be a type of a blued finish and the frame looks to be a black polycoat but can't say for sure.
Can someone clue me in on what the finish is in the slide and on the frame?

The Shadow 2 frames and slides are nitrided. The frames are then poly coated black to fill in any voids from the casting process.
Even if the poly coat flakes off, the frame is protected by the nitride finish.
