Excellent rifle for driven hunt for boars. Does the rifle scope have a dimmable red dot?

No, it doesn't but is has heavy duplex crosshairs - shot 2 elk and one black bear with it - they all dropped like Thor's Hammer hit them.

This is a small disadvantage to using the rifle for driven hunts.  Nowadays in Europe all special riflescopes for driven hunts have a dimmable red dot, including my rifle scope for driven hunts, a Czech Meopta R2 1-6x24.  Anyone who has hunted with a red dot, especially in bad weather, does not want to be without the red dot.
But that doesn't apply so much to the hunting purposes for which you use this rifle.  Therefore from Germany "Weidmannsheil" for shooting the bear and the two elks with your CZ rifle.

Thanks. Since you seem interested (most people in this country don't get it) would you like to see some other German Rifles I built: 6,5X55, 7X64, 9,3X64 and 11X67 (.425 Westley Richards)?

OK, I will put them up on General Firearms Discussion, since these are all Mausers.

Absolutely post up your builds. I don't own anything chambered in those cartridges, but it is always good to see custom rifles.

Beautiful rifle, outstanding work crown to pad. I'd love to see how it shoots. I used to really enjoy the European cal.'s but now that I have given up reloading and passed along my Husquvarna 7x57 I get to enjoy other guy's projects. I do concur with having an adjustable illuminated reticle is a huge advantage in many situations. Speaking of Meopta, I have been using their Optika6 1-6x24. Very nice product, tough as nails and affordable. Keep the projects coming!

I just traded for a CZ 550 FS in 9.3x62mm.  I traded a guy 600 rounds of .30-06 M2 ball that I had only $350 invested in.  Needless to say, I came out on top on the trade!

The rifle is a real shooter.  Shooting PPU 285 gr SP it shot a .8" three shot group at 100 yds.  I'm pleasantly surprised how manageable the recoil is.  I really do love the FS rifles.  I almost like this one more than my 6.5x55mm.

Congratulations on your latest acquisition.
Is there a scope mounted on the rifle? If so, which?

I had an extra Leupold laying around: VX-1 1-4x20mm Heavy Duplex.  I kind of wish it wasn't the Heavy Duplex, but it gets the job done.
