452 Trainer front sight band?

Hi all, I'm looking at a used 452 Trainer in nice condition. I noticed a small seam around  the circumference of the barrel at th near end of the front sight base. Is the front sight on this model on a band that is blended into the barrel? Thanks

I dont know on a Trainer but on the 452 Lux version it's a banded sight.

Thanks. I believe the Trainer is identical to the Lux except that the Trainer has a beech stock. It looks like the end of the barrel was turned down in diameter then the band slipped over  matching the original barrel diameter so that it blends in without a step up in the diameter where the band is.

The CZ-USA web store sells these banded sights in the white if you'd like to see them. But your description says you've got it figured out correctly. There soldered on, then polished and blued.
