Final update on grips. I went with LOK’s G10 grips in black with palm swells and the crosscut texture. Fit is perfect using the torx grip screws and rubber washer they provided.

How do you like the thumb notch? Makes the mag release any easier?

Depends on your hand size.  For me yes, have that feature on all 5 of my 6.  Not needed on Shadow 2 due to configuration of the mag release.

Thanks JW. I’ll try the extended mag release first to see how that works out. Then go from there.

You can’t go wrong with Loks, IMO.

If you ever want the more natural wood grips to have on the side or whatever, there’s always Klinsky as well.

Just seeing this older post now.

An FYI on the Klinsky “anatom” grips with the thumb rests. They are very wide. You can see the thickness of the shelf on the top of the right side Compact grip in the photo below. Had an issue with a pair for the CZ 75 where the screw holes were not deep enough for standard screws to reach the holes in the frames. Required some reaming to make the hole deeper so the screws had sufficient bite to secure the grips.

Psyop96, how did you like that thumb ledge on the wood grips?

I have medium-small sized hands but I actually like the wide grips for the Compacts with the PCR logo on it for target shooting. Definitely a robust two-hand hold for static targets. I think it makes me consciously use a straight trigger finger movement on the trigger with the width and shape of the grip.
