I've dug all over the internet looking for what I though should be a simple "been there, done that" answer...

Here is where I am at:

- P-10c
- Slide has been shipped to JagerWerks for an optics cut
- Layout will be... Rear dovetail (Glock cut) > RMR (RM06) > front sight
- .185" optic cut depth (from email with Steven Hunt of JagerWerks)

What I want:

- Lower 1/4 co-witness
- Blacked out sights

I have this same co-witness on my Glocks and it is what I find works best for me.

Example (pic from my Google Photos account):

Questions:

- Which rear sight do I purchase?
- Which front sight do I purchase?

Thanks!

42, I’ve wrestled with this issue myself.  I settled with having my sights very low (bottom of window) and just live with it

I called Dawson Precision told them what I wanted. They told me what I needed.

When I did that, I was told that there wasn't a DP front sight in production that aligned with the DP sight calculator. Everywhere I go, I keep finding conflicting information.

Can you share the exact models you picked up for front and rear? Thanks!

Ummm... That is exactly what I am looking for (see the pic I posted). Did you have your optic cut milled to .185" (JW cut)? If so, what exact make/model front/rear did you get?

...or do you mean "very bottom of the window" meaning your iron sights are 99.5% obscured by the metal body of the RMR?

My sights are for a P07/09. I don’t know if they are compatible.

If no one else has an answer for you by the time I get home tomorrow I will send you the product numbers.

I haven’t even purchased my guns yet...still waiting on the web store.

Primary Machine did mine and I like their work, nothing against Jager works.  One of the options upon checkout is having the rear dovetail milled out to accept Glock sights.  So essentially I have a Dawson front (FO) and a Glock rear (blacked out).  I don’t know the exact height as I just throw on whatever I had laying around.  I tied taking a pic but it won’t come out right

Time for another update:

As noted a few posts up I ordered the following with the understanding that this would provide a lower 1/4 co-witness:

FRONT: Dawson Precision P10 black sight .275", part # 019-540

https://dawsonprecision.com/dawson-precision-cz-p10c-black-front-sights/

REAR: Ameriglo GL-408, .360"

https://ameriglo.com/collections/products/glock-tall-steel-rears

Got the slide back, installed a sealing plate (since my RMR overhangs) and then installed my RMR RM06.

Rear sight does not clear the RMR and the front feels way too high. After zeroing the RMR, If I present the pistol with line of sight being as low as possible (looking along the bottom of the RMR). The top of the front sight post is way above the the red dot. Hard to tell since I don't have a viewable rear, but it feels like the front is suited for between absolute and lower 1/3rd co-witness.

Where did I go wrong?

(pics incoming...)
