Since the global plague and pestilence has killed all the demo events for 2020 (and probably 2021), I've been out of the loop for pre-announcements. November is usually when the orders are placed for the following year. I passed the question up the chain, so I will let you know when I hear something that can be posted publicly.

I saw a post at calguns.net on 12/14 that dealers have been notified by CZ USA that the RAMI has been discontinued from production.  That's about all the info they had.
The post on CalGuns has very little information as to who sent the notice and to whom.  Coincidentally, there are now several rami for sale in the San Diego area if you are willing to pay $1k....

CZ-UB announced it being discontinued back in April at least, maybe a bit earlier. They've still been shipping since then, but production is winding down and will stop soon. It may have already stopped. I don't expect to see many (or any) in 2021).

Gotcha.  And it may be common knowledge, but I have not been able to find the source or context of the recent info.

I keep asking because when I bought my first RAMI in 2005 it was on a discontinued guns sale then and I have heard it was being discontinued several times over the past 15 years. I also purchased a 75B when they were discontinued in 2014 and a SP01 when they were discontinued in 2016

I like the RAMI, but also think it should be discontinued.  They were a great budget compact at one time, but are too costly to produce/market now with several better options out there at similar price points.

I do get frustrated when people keep saying a gun is discontinued, double the price, then get more in next spring. That happens frequently with CZ’s here in San Diego and on CalGuns. The local shop where I got my first RAMI and my SP01 (both on discontinued sale), currently has new SP01’s in stock for $900.

The first announcement I saw was on the UB facebook page. I can't remember if it was spring or summer for sure. Any CZ-USA authorized dealer will be able to see that there are no RAMI models on the 2021 price list. It's possible a few more may trickle in early in 2021 but I sort of suspect they won't. Either way they'll be done soon if not already. They're definitely discontinued.

Rami is on discontinued item list and not on the 2021 pricing list.

We have a few customized versions available

That is unfortunate. I have a poly frame in 40 cal. I bought it used in 2010, and it had a frame bulge when I got it. I've shot at least 2000 rounds of various brands through it, and it has never failed to function. I don't see how any other options are better for me. RIP.

You might be able to find some Rami BDs at the Scheels sporting goods chain, but you have to call in to order - they don’t take on line orders. Looks like Billings and Johnstown, CO stores still have them.
