It may have odd aesthetics but I am a big fan of this enclosed emitter RDS.

Very nice.  How does the screen size compare to the 507c?  Who cut the window in your slide?  What brand of comp is that and how do you like it?  Thanks.

Screen size appears larger than the 507c. It could be the square glass. My eye took to it right away. The only negative (if it is a negative) is that I don’t believe you can co-witness the iron sights. My are lower 1/3 which I prefer anyways.

The comp is Primary Machine micro.  I read multiple of positive reviews on this forum and social media. Full transparency I added it for aesthetics not expecting noticeable performance gains. I was WRONG. Coupled with the NC Engravers custom milled slide, the gun shot flatter. I was laughing throughout the first magazine in its current setup.

Little tricky to tell from the angles in the photos, but are you running an RMR cut that you then used a plate with a dovetail to get the 509 on? Or is the slide milled specifically for the 509? I ask because I'm debating between the 508 and the 509 right now for my P10F.

Thanks!

The slide was killed for your typical RMR.  The 509T comes with a RMR adapter plate in the box. If someone is able to get the specs from Holosun your slide could be milled specifically for the 509T. I had the slide milled for co-witness if the stock CZ Suppressor height sights.  That was the main reason using NC Engravers. No need for expensive aftermarket sights.

Keep in mind the 509T Mount is proprietary so you would have to have it re-milled to change your rds.

That's a cool holster.  Who makes that?

I like how it has a cover to protect the RDS. I assume that just pushes out of the way when you draw?

Yes.  When you draw the cover moves up and out of the way.  It is a Safariland.  The model references a Glock 34 (they don’t make a specific one for CZ).  The interior is lined with suede like material. They are rather expensive holsters but the quality is second to none.

Will that same holster work with:

X300U A/B
TLR-1 HL
TLR-7
TLR -7A

Just wondering if you have any of those lights laying around.

Also, as is... Are you getting secure lock-up on the ejection port on the slide? Any wiggles or up/down movement?

I ordered a 6390RDS 2832 a few weeks ago but I want to have a backup plan in the works...

I can confirm it fits the X300U-A.  The lock-up is secure with both lights. There is a ever so slight wiggle with the InForce light. There is ZERO play with the X300U. In fact I dare say the locking mechanism may need slight sanding for easier re-holstering.  I cannot confirm the TLR lights.

Very cool.  I just got interested in this optic, and I am curious how it works with your P10C. I have a P10F, and it is so flat shooting and smooth that it seems like a perfect host for a red dot.

How do you find the recoil impulse and overall behavior of a pistol to be now that you have mounted this optic on it?  I am curious if it’s still shoots as flat as it did before or if the added weight has shifted the balance and affected how the dot tracks.

I FINALLY got the shoot it yesterday (Sunny & 60).  This setup shoots FLAT.  I have a proficient grip to begin with, but I can tell when pistols “fight” me for control.  This setup had my giggling after each mag. Once I sighted the 509T at 15 yards, the fun began. I really wish I would have asked one of my buddies to film the pistol in action. It was my first experience shooting a RDS on a pistol. Because of dry fire practice, I immediately had great presentation and sight tracking. With little to no recoil I was slaying paper targets and plates with efficiency.  I never had to search for the donut of death.  Once my buddies ran a couple of magazines even they noticed less misses.

I was once a “naysayer” but now a convert.  It would be even better on a full size P10.  If you don’t have at least one pistol with a quality RDS setup, you’re sleeping. I wanted to hate it so it saves me money for my other pistols. Now I’m looking at milled slides for all but a couple [emoji2359]

Sounds fun.  Glad you are enjoying it.  One question though, I am curious why you think the full size would be a better platform than the P10C you have.  Would you explain that idea more?

Slightly heavier, bigger grip and frame.  For me personally my proficiency increases from my micro compacts to full size 9mm pistols. Basically the larger the pistol, the less felt recoil. I would assume this is the case for most people.
