Update on my situation with this trigger. After not hearing back from the website form submission and not having a live person ever answer the phone, I tried an email to technical support and got a reply back the next day. At first, they hadn’t had reports of any issues, but over the course of several days of back and forth emails, phone calls and photos, more reports have popped up. Timney asked if I would be willing to send my trigger and the lower trigger housing to them, at their expense, so they could check and see what variations there might be between guns that are having issues vs. theirs. So far, the only trigger they had received back was working fine in their gun. Anyway, it’s on its way, so we’ll see what they find. So yes, things got off to a rough start, but once I figured out the best way to reach them (direct email, not the website form or phone) they’ve been great to deal with and hopefully they’ll get it figured out soon.
