Installed today. Very crisp light trigger and reset.
Will test fire tomorrow.
Beware there are things to watch out for not covered in their instructions.
Here are my comments to them:
Got my trigger today and went about installing it. It was more difficult than an AR15 drop-in for sure, but even more difficult perhaps because of my early Scorpion (purchased Aug/2015, S/N B836xxx).
- Removing old trigger pack fairly straightforward
- Installing new trigger pack easy - installing safety - NOT so easy. Probably took me 30-40 minutes before I finally got it in there. Takes patience.
Here's where the bad part starts.
The instructions say to "reinstall the trigger pack". that's it. Well there's a little plastic "flipper" ejector? piece that needs to be oriented correctly when you reinstall the trigger pack or your troubles begin.
If you are not paying attention, that can get flipped around when you install the trigger pack.
When you do that, you cannot release the bolt with the charging handle, it gets stuck, and then it's a bitch to get it back to start over.
I broke my HB Industries charging handle trying to get the bolt back to remove the trigger pack again ! 🙁
I finally figured out what was going on and reinstalled my original charging handle and am operational. I will test fire tomorrow.
May consider adding that to the instructions or creating an installation video for your website.
Also, I had some issues with the trigger not resetting and had to adjust the tension on the selector switch plunger/screw.
Seems to be working fine now.
