Taurus PT-140 G2 after 5 years.
« on: October 30, 2020, 06:54:39 PM »
This Taurus PT-140 G2 is one of my concealed carry handguns. It's over 5 years old now with at least a 1000rds through it with no malfunctions.

It has been over a year since I fired this handgun, and today, I ran a 100rds of 165gr Freedom Munitions and 180gr PMC with no issues. I just wanted to share my very good experience with this .40 caliber Taurus subcompact that holds 10+1.

Nice you know you can put it away for a year, pull it out and do that!

Nice! I just picked up a G3c a few weeks ago, in 9mm. I think the G3 series is the successor to the G2 series, which was the successor the the Millennium series. Great size, and so far very reliable. 12 +1 rounds of 9mm. I have about 300 rounds through mine, including 100 rounds of Speer 124 grain +p GDHP's, with zero malfunctions, except for the front sight coming loose. I blue loctited it today, hope to get out tomorrow to continue the break-in/confidence check, and see how the sight holds tight.

Mine did the same thing. Little thread lock and all is well.
