Kill Coyotes, please.

I leave the coyotes alone during the fall and winter. They don't do any harm and do a lot of good eating pest rodents, as long as there aren't too many. If I see one going after a calf, lamb, or fawn, I'll shoot it. I'd rather have coyotes around then raccoons, at least coyotes don't tear up feeders, pump sheds, houses, garages, trailers, and parked cars.

I also would rather have yotes around than raccoons, they’re incredibly destructive

I do not believe I inferred that you do not kill raccoons they are pests to be sure.

Kill them both then please.

I shoot raccoons whenever they're in any place they shouldn't be. They have a place, just not in the deer feeders, or within 500 yards of the cabin. Coyotes are smart enough to learn where they should and shouldn't be. Raccoons are vicious, destructive and get stupid when in large groups.

We have a standing rule that has resulted in the loss of a few former friends, one of over 30 years. You DO NOT shoot a fox unless its rabid. Anyone that hunts on the ranch is informed of the rules verbally and in writing. One of my uncles (dad's youngest brother) was banned by my dad when I was 12, he shot a red fox from his truck. He is still banned as far as I'm concerned. Road hunting and shooting a fox is completely inexcusable.

Those are some fat raccoons. They all look like they're healthy. Wonder if he's feeding them up for a pelt harvest.

A significant problem with raccoons in my area is rabies. If you see one during the day, it almost without fail is rabid and should be destroyed.

Coons not only tear up feeders, but they kill chickens. Lost two mother hens and their chicks this past summer when one forced its way into the brooding pen, and what it didnt eat it killed and left laying. I set DP traps and have killed eleven coons since then.

Ive been without a computer for a couple weeks or so. Ive had problems with my game cams, so I replaced one of them. Nine (9) racoons under one feeder! Or rather seven under it, one climbing a feeder leg and one trying to tear off the cage I have mounted to prevent them from stealing my corn! No telling how many families of them I have raised through my deer feeders.

I would say...a lot.

He gets bit, and he might be in for a rough time...and it would be good luck figuring out which one did the biting. Much less catching the coon to get it tested.

The coyotes aren't a problem? I have some friends that hunt north GA. They claim coyotes are having a big negative impact on whitetail.

Forget coyotes , re introduced wolves are the problem in Wyoming . Decimating the elk herds .worst decision ever made by BLM to bring back wolves!
