My first VV N555 load
« on: November 21, 2020, 01:05:26 PM »
I was excited to test today my first VihtaVuori N555 load. It was quite cold today (4 degrees Celsius), although almost no wind. I used Hornady brass, CCI BR2 primers and Hornady 130gr ELD bullets.

The best 5-shot group is the one below (42.5gr). I think this powder has huge accuracy potential.

Nice shooting!

I've found n555 to be a very good 6.5cm powder too. When working up a load I had a few 0 SD 5-shot strings with ES in the very low single digits.

There's really nothing to not like about it except the price - being $10 more per lb than h4350 or re16.
