Converting Compact to SAO
« on: December 14, 2020, 08:07:45 PM »
So I have the trigger but since it's now SAO what changes or upgrades are not applicable?

I'm thinking certain spring(s) that would affect DA but I'm not smithy enough to know if you don't mess with it since that's no longer a function.

thanks

You can keep your oem mainspring. What else are you wanting to do to the gun? Race hammer? Is it for range fun, carry?

I don't compete so the range is just for keeping in tune otherwise I carry. Actually DA and grips were the main things affecting my run so unless there is an inherent mechanical issue that should not be overlooked then I think I'm good.

I would buy a CGW floating trigger pin and trigger return spring. If you're happy with the gun otherwise,  that's about all there is to it.
