Malfunctioning jericho 941f

Trying to figure out what is causing some issues with a new jericho I just picked up. It's like the slide is not pushing the hammer down far enough to reset it all the way with every other shot. Have tried multiple brands of ammo. I've tried holding the gun differently, I even limp wristed it a bit to see if it would change the outcome of the malfunctions, and there been no change. I just uploaded a vid on youtube of what it's doing. Any help would be greatly appreciated before I send this thing back to IWI and have to wait for repairs. Hopefully it's something easily fixable.

Since it appears to be feeding and ejecting fine, I'm guessing that the sear is marginal at best and defectively cut at worst.

Since it was purchased new, send it back to IWI for them to fix.

Thanks for the info, I was kinda thinking it was gonna have to go back. Such a shame. Makes me wonder about the qc at IWI

I agree with jwc007.  Send that puppy home!  Even if you could fix it, it would be better for them to fix it because they need to know such problems exist so that they can prevent it from happening in the future.  You'll want to eliminate the "we shot two rounds through it and couldn't get it to malfunction" excuse, so definitely send the video along with it.  Ask for them to let you know what repairs they had to do.  Let us know how it works out.

Don’t lose faith in IWI. They make great guns and I’m sure they’ll make it right.
