You should be good w/ that optic. It's under 6" long IIRC and 6" is about the max you can go on a VZ58 w/o ejection potentially damaging. For that -- yes, you want a solid mounting base, and I'd also remove its riser to make it as low as possible. Either the RS Yugo stock option (and its clamp on cheek risers) on the FAB option w/ its integral cheek riser options are probably best/required.
That same top cover is available from VZ58usa for sub $200:
https://www.vz58usa.com/product/vz58-tactical-dust-cover-with-picatinny-rails/For quick removal, vz58rifle.com/zendl have a lever clamp top cover, but it's hard to get and also expensive.
There are also cantilever versions that mount to stock mount on receiver and the side rails.
Recreationally, the Kinggun version you shared is probably sufficient. And it should work on all Czech guns w/o fitting. VZ2008s usually require some degree of hand fitting w/ that mount.
For duty use, you probably want a clamp version, or the RS side rail mounts that are also clamp. Screws that require cure time for standard disassembly to not work loose plus tools aren't ideal.
