I know, enough already, but I had a long time away from the range and I'm pretty excited to get out again in the high altitude with some cooler temperatures.  And a little wind.  I expected today to be cool, but I also expected it to be calm, and it wasn't.  Not like yesterday, but still enough to affect the hold with a slow bullet at 100 yards.  I was able to make a short video of a good group on paper.  I couldn't resist taking a few shots at the hanging steel plate before leaving.  I've included the shots from the rest in the video.  I tried shooting unsupported single hand but my hands were too cold without the gloves and I was too clumsy with them, so I missed a few shots.

Any week where I can make it to the range three times in a row is a good week!  I might make it back one more time before heading home.  If it is calm on Thursday or Friday, I might try 200 with the .45, assuming I can find a stick long enough to support an aim point.  Or shoot the Kadet if the air temp is above 30F or so.

Nothing better than the sound of ringing steel.

Nice shooting.
